Get to know your State Theatre Centre and what goes on inside.

Experience a range of FREE activities including: workshops with artists, play readings, kids crafts, theatre design presentations and backstage tours. The Open Day is a unique community showcase of the venue’s three resident companies -

In addition, CDP Theatre Producers present Mr. Stink in the Heath Ledger Theatre, bringing David Walliams’ award-winning book to life for children 6-12 years. In the Studio Underground, Black Swan present The Lighthouse Girl, the story that inspired The Giants for families and ages 10+. And to top it all off in The Courtyard, the Perth Comedy Festival fires up the Gold Digger with The Biggest Comedy Show on Earth for ages 13+.

This is a day which has it all!

Food and drink available to purchase in the State Theatre Centre.

Tickets required for performances and registrations will be required for some activities. Open Day schedule TBC.
