1. GRAND HISTORICAL
Duration 2 hours
Mr Ivan King, Theatre Historian, takes you on a gossipy and anecdotal wander through ten decades of colourful show-business history; viewing Front-of-house, auditorium, stage, backstage and our Museum of Performing Arts Exhibition in Downstairs at the Maj.
2. BEHIND THE SCENES
Duration 1.5 hours
Tour commences in the Stalls foyer and views the auditorium and backstage areas of the Theatre, including the Museum of Performing Arts Memorabilia Exhibition.
3. SCHOOL EDUCATION
Duration 1 – 1.5 hours
Fees $100 (10-30) students includes 1 teacher - extra adults at $10 each
Tour commences in the Stalls foyer and views the auditorium and backstage areas of the Theatre and Museum of Performing Arts Exhibition.

Fees $200 for (10-30pax) including up to 5 adults
Conducted by a Theatre Technician for senior students studying the mechanics of stage. If required a Theatre management outline plus visit to the Museum of Performing Arts for 30 minutes can be added to the tour at no extra cost.
The Friends of the Theatre
Volunteers operate information desks in the front foyer and Museum of Performing Arts (Downstairs at the Maj).
Open Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm to assist patrons and visitors can take a 15min to 30min tour at $2 per person to hear the Theatre history, view the Auditorium, Foyers and Museum of Performing Arts memorabilia exhibition.
Booked groups to the Museum (bookings essential due to limited space) at $2 per per person.
An Access Lift for people with disabilities is available from the Ground Floor foyer to the Museum of Performing Arts and Downstairs at the Maj.
All tours are subject to availability, due to rehearsals and bookings on stage.
Bookings essential for all group tours.
Tour funds are directed into the Museum of Performing Arts to assist in preserving this vital arts heritage facility for the people of Western Australia.
